Circle Southeast
Groundbreaking Ceremony - August 27, 2007
The
City of Tallahassee - Leon
County Blueprint 2000 Intergovernmental Agency
kicked-off the construction of the second expansion
project for Capital Circle Southeast with a Groundbreaking
Ceremony on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:00
a.m. The event took place at the transmission
line on Capital Circle Southeast, between Tram
Road and Woodville Highway, on the south side
of Capital Circle Southeast.
The Capital
Circle Southeast project will extend from just
south of Tram Road to west of Woodville Highway
and will widen the existing two-lane undivided
rural road to a six-lane divided urban roadway.
The 2.2-mile project will include curb and gutter,
sidewalk, a meandering trail, bicycle lanes, a
substantially landscaped median and landscaped
border, as well as significant stormwater improvements.

Public Workshop - June 20, 2006
Blueprint 2000 & Beyond held a Public Workshop regarding the design of Capital Circle Southeast from Woodville Highway to Tram Road. This project is funded by an extension of the local one-cent sales tax approved by Leon County voters.
Visual displays and handouts regarding the project were available for review and included project goals, existing conditions, project design, and the proposed right of way needs. Members of the Blueprint 2000 & Beyond project team were available to explain the scope of the project, the project schedule, and to discuss work completed thus far and to answer your questions.

Public Meeting - July 24, 2007
Blueprint 2000 held a Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the Blueprint 2000 office, 1311 Executive Center Drive, Suite 109, The Koger Center, Ellis Building, Tallahassee, Florida. The purpose of this meeting was to provide the community with information related to the construction phases and activities for this project. Visual displays and construction plans were available for review. Members of the Blueprint 2000 project team were available a to answer questions.
