PROJECT PURPOSE:
To improve safety and traffic
flow efficiency; the Florida Department of Transportation
(FDOT) widened Capital Circle Northwest from Commonwealth
Lane to West Tennessee Street from three lanes to
six lanes. The project required the construction of
a regional stormwater facility south of West Tennessee
Street. The contribution of Blueprint 2000 to this
joint venture and in conjunction with the Blueprint
philosophy, the facility was designed as a multi use
pond. The facility provides improved stormwater treatment
and reduces downstream flooding. View
