ALTERNATIVES
MEETING
The Alternatives
Meeting was held on November 13, 2008 at the Center
for Economic and Workforce Development on the TCC campus.
The results of the evaluations for each of the alignment
alternatives within the four corridor segments were
presented and reviewed in great detail. Extensive
input was received from those in attendance. Based
on the results of the evaluations and the input received
from the public at the Alternatives Meeting, recommendations
as to the preferred corridor segment solutions were
presented to and approved by the IA at the February
23, 2009 meeting.
The approved segment solutions will be combined to develop
a preferred Existing Alignment (Widening) Alternative
and a preferred Realignment Alternative for further
evaluation and comparison with the
“No-Build”
Alternative using the 13 evaluation criteria and associated
weightings established by the IA. The results
of these evaluations will be presented to the public
at the Preferred Alternatives Meeting.
