COMMUNITY
REPRESENTATIVES
The Community Participation Plan
(CPP) includes the selection of Community Representatives
(CR) who meet regularly with the project team to review
the information generated by the study, give advice
and share various community perspectives. While these
Community Representatives will meet more often than
the full community, all citizens will have opportunities
for extensive participation in the study. At the October
19, 2006 Public Kick-off meeting, we invited individuals
to participate as a Community Representative. These
individuals have been selected to ensure broad community
representation. In order to have effective meetings
and give the individuals an opportunity to participate
in discussion, the number of Community Representatives
was initially set at thirteen.
