INFORMATION
MEETING
An Information Meeting was held on
November 6, 2007 to review the progress of the study
to date. After careful consideration, study alternative
corridors have been identified by the Project Team.
The alternatives are identified as four corridor segments:
• Segment
1 – Existing alignment from Crawfordville
Road to the beginning of the realignment (in the vicinity
of the Munson Slough Crossing).
• Segment
2 – Existing alignment from the beginning
of the realignment (in the vicinity of the Munson Slough
Crossing) to the end of the Capital Circle NW/SW project
segment (near Cascade Drive).
• Segment
3 – Realignment from the western end of
Segment 1 to Orange Avenue. This alignment provides
for the opportunity to realign Springhill Road to better
serve the Tallahassee Regional Airport.
• Segment
4 – Realignment from the end of Segment
3 at Lake Bradford Road to the end of the Capital Circle
NW/SW project segment (near Cascade Drive).
